We had the opportunity this past week to travel to Colonia Juarez Mexico to bury Grandpa Jasper McClellan he was 98 years old. He passed away in Blanco Texas his only wish was to be buried next to Grandma in the Colonies. We flew into San Antonio Texas then rented a car and loaded Grandpa up in the back of Uncle Kiko's truck we then followed Kiko about 18 hrs through the night until we reached Colonia Juarez. It was a great experience to be able to be a part of getting Grandpa home to Grandma. The people in the colonies truly loved him they cancelled School for the day and also closed the Temple during his funeral. Grandpa truly made an impact on not only the Ward members in the Colonies but the growth of the church as a whole in Mexico. We heard many great stories about a man that changed lives and made everyone smile. We are happy he is finally home with Grandma!!!
